Week 1 Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and with all your strength.

3. Palms Up.
In the Bible Study section at the end of the chapter Lysa asks, “What is holding you back from going deeper in your relationship with God?” List one or more things you sense holding you back (fear, intimidation, lack of confidence, etc). Use your Bible study tools to find scriptures that will help you apply God’s truth in this area. Determine to release, surrender and move forward with #PALMSUP receiving all God has for you.

Fear of not knowing the word or scriptures to be available to help me get closer to God or help another who has his/her own questions.

Fear is an emotion induced by a perceived threat which causes entities to quickly pull far away from it and usually hide.

Search on: fear on not knowing scripture             Result which resonated with me:

Psalm 34:4

English Standard Version (ESV)

4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.

I once heard “emotions are not truth.” I understand this, so why is it so hard for us to live in the truth? Blessings go out to you and may he strengthen and guard you to the truth.

      • The best we can do for now is to remember our ultimate aim, our highest priorities, and activate enough will power to tune into those things that deep down mean the most to us. It is very important that we keep marching toward the Truth, no matter what obstacles or discouragements are tossed in our path. It depends on whether we wish to live in the Truth of the Present Moment. Blessings and peace.
