Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Justified by the law:
- Gal 3:11 But no man is justified (definition of justified:declared or made righteous in the sight of God) by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for, the just shall live by faith.
- Romans 3:27-28 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live into God.
Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my breathen, ye also also are to become dead to the law by the body of Christ.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, the Christ is dead in vain.
1 Cor 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are we ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
My prayer for you:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Acts 2:18 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God into salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as is is written, the just shall live by faith.
