In week 5 of our studies, we are looking and searching into II Thessalonians and how this letter from Paul applies to our world today.
- God is just and fair.
- God is faithful to his direct believers.
The Thessalonians faith grew exceedingly, even through persecution and with tribulations.
Is our faith growing even in the mists of trouble, trials, and turmoil?
We pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of his calling.
In chapter 2 of Thessalonians verse 10: we read: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
verse 15: therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle (letter).
We are to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, for not all believe nor they have faith.
Is our prayer life according to God’s will?
In chapter 3 of Thessalonians verse 5: And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
As Christians, we are not to partake or walk with those that can lead us to disorder and unrighteousness.
As Christians, we are to be an example to those who don’t believe in Jesus Christ.
May you continue to search the living word of God and not lean unto your own understanding.
