Son be sure to write,
I stare out the cold winter window tonight.

He was just a young boy seems like moments ago,
And now he is driving down the road.
Where and when did my family spend
It’s been 60 years it’s hard to apprehend
She looked me in my eyes,
I can almost hear her sing the lullaby.

Dad where are you off to today,
Can you watch me play?
Where and when did my family spend
It’s been 60 years it’s hard to apprehend.
She told me she prays for me,
I watch the clock and just want to flee.

My pastor wants to make sure I know,
It’s not just stories, words and a show.
Where and when did my family spend,
It’s been 60 years I so want to make amends.

Poem by Brenda l Bennett
My prayer for you today: May your treasures be with your family, an abundance of love, the church and spreading the good news about our Almighty Savior Jesus Christ.
This poem is based on the Sunday’s sermon and the scriptures:
Psalm 69:19 Blessed be the Lords, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah
Haggai 1:6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, by ye have not enoguh; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there in none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it inot a bag with holes.
